These certifications not only validate our efforts but also highlight our unwavering dedication to aligning our approach with the highest sustainability standards.
At the Gran Amérian Portal del Iguazú hotel, we have developed responsible environmental management to prevent environmental impact. Sustainable policies, such as the use of bioenergy, have led to the hotel’s GOLD eco-label in the Greenest Hotels program (renewal in 2024) run by the Argentine Tourism Hotel Association (AHT). This makes it the third hotel in the country to achieve this highest level. This hotel also holds international certification from the Rainforest Alliance.
Amérian Córdoba was the first hotel in the city to be certified in 2016, achieving BRONZE status, and later achieved SILVER status, which remains validated to this day. Amérian Executive Córdoba, Amérian Buenos Aires, and Amérian Catamarca all earned BRONZE status. Recently, the following certifications were added to these: Amérian Villa María, BRONZE level in 2023, Amérian Carlos Paz with certification in the SILVER category, since 2018 and revalidated to the present, and Amérian Villa del Dique certified in BRONZE in 2025. We continue working day by day to ensure that Amérian Hoteles is a sustainable hotel chain that is conscious of caring for the environment.
